All of our services are by appointment only. Please call the farm or send us an email if you are looking to share in one of these experiences with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
Our lessons are $40 each and last about an hour. Pay a month at a time to reserve your spot. Keep riding for as many months as you like! Though we do not show, we strive to develop a centered, balanced independent seat. We believe anyone can learn enough to have a lifelong safe relationship with horses so our lesson program is very focused on developing a role of kind consistent leadership to gain our equine partner's respect. This is both in the saddle and on the ground. Our lessons also incorporate trail riding along with corral work and ground work. Students will learn as much about horses in general as they will about riding. This journey is about much more than just riding!
Schedule a trail ride for only $50 and go for a guided walking ride through acres of beautiful countryside. The sounds of traffic and electronics are replaced with the sounds of the hawks and the wind blowing in the trees. You will get a demonstration by staff and get to practice in the corral for a bit before hitting the trail. Your worries will be left out there in the woods as you share a long walk with one of God's most amazing animals. Plan to be here about an hour and a half.
This is not just any day camp! His Barn has been offering its own camps since 2004 after being involved with a horse camp in N.W. Pennsylvania for years. Couple that with a background in early childhood education and a summer staff that loves the program and the campers as much as I do, we are able to provide a unique day camp for both the parents and kids. Beginner riders as well as kids currently enrolled in lessons will have the chance to build their horsemanship skills. We offer about an hour and a half riding lessons, additional horse class, daily Bible studies, games and crafts, and balanced, catered lunchs along with morning and afternoon snacks! Full day $350
