Our Story

This story began years ago when I was a horse crazy kid in Pennsylvania who couldn't afford lessons.  Who knew that when I discovered a horse camp as a young teen, it would lay the foundation of a relationship with Jesus unlike I had ever known, and that it would shape my entire life to come?!   God's love was more tangible for me one particular week of camp than I had ever experienced before and all I did know was that I wanted to be part of a place that created an environment for others to feel the unconditional love that I was feeling at camp.  His Barn opened in 2000 and has experienced many bumps, bruises and changes along the way.  Our biggest change - moving to Greene County Pennsylvania is now underway!  Some things will not changed though - my passion to share the world of horses in a safe and enjoyable way;  a dedication to pursue God and walk out my life according to His word and His love as best as I can-even when I fail at it; and my commitment to offer the very best I have, no matter how small or big.   I have learned so much here from all of you.  I am a better human being because of the love experienced here on this farm and the priceless memories made.  Oh what exciting things await us in this next chapter.  God did not cross our paths by accident and your love for these animals, for me and Momma Shirley and all things His Barn is the current that carries me forward into God's plans.  Thank you for shaping this place into what it is!  

Part of the goal is to have overnight camp capability at some point in the future so don't plan on saying good bye!  More details to follow as soon as God reveals them to me!

I'm looking forward to expanding our barn family here and there so come be part of our story and the new chapters ahead!
